* Tram Station to Mandalay Bay *One of the reasons we decided to go to Vegas this year was the Barrett Jackson Classic Car Auction. We stayed at the Luxor Hotel and Casino, right next door to Mandalay Bay where the auction is filmed live in the Events Center. This place is big enough to throw a concert in, yet it seems so different on t.v. We found out that you can see the cars that are being auctioned, up close in a showroom. I took pictures of the live auction but they didn't look as good these. Despite a bad economy, Barrett Jackson brought in over $23 million from bidders worldwide.
