Volcano in Hawaii flows through Royal Gardens

A volcano in Kalapana, Hawaii is causing a lot of damage. The lava is now seeping through the
Royal Gardens, a nearby subdivision that was almost destroyed in 1990. Amazing ! I've always wanted to see a volcano but this is too close for me. And speaking of Hawaii, Dog the Bounty Hunter survived the storm is set to start production again on his show. Yes, I'm a fan and all is forgiven.

Adventure Tours & Safari Honeymoons in Namibia

Spotlight on Namibia, Africa

Every year, Namibia has about 300 days of Sunshine over its beautiful South African Desert. Namibia, a huge but sparsely populated country, is situated in southwestern Africa. It is known for its contrasting landscapes. There is the brooding desolate Namib Desert, said to be the oldest in the world, with its high dunes and awe inspiring sense of space. The central plateau, with its thornbush savanna and rugged mountains, rising abruptly from the plains, gives way to the majestic Fish river canyon national park in the South. In the North of the country, landscapes range from dense bush and open plains of the great Etosha national park pan, to woodland savanna and lush riverine vegetation.
The capital city of Windhoek is a great place to start your trip. It is the travel hub of Namibia and offers good nightlife, restaurants and nice sights. Swakopmund is a very German town in Namibia. It is indeed a strange feeling to walk through a German street in the African sun; to drink German beer while enjoying the African sun is a another good option here. All these facts combine in a country which can justifiably be known as "Africa's Gem" .
Most of the African game species are well represented in Namibia, with the largest concentration in the Etosha National Park which is firmly entrenched on the world map of international parks. Etosha provides memorable experiences. Namibia is home to the largest population of cheetah still in existence. A waterhole at dawn with a medley of giraffe, zebra, rhino, graceful antelopes and a solitary hyena is like a finely etched painting of African wildlife. Foxtrot Tours offers some of the most unique Safari and Adventure Tours I've ever seen! From Exotic Camping Adventures to 5 Star Lodge Safaris, they are Specialists for Namibia, Botswana and Angola. Celebrating Fat Tuesday around the World

Mardi Gras by Tara Jenkins

Happy Mardi Gras! Did you know they celebrate Mardi Gras in Venice, Italy? New Orleans isn't the only one kicking up her heels. Almost all of Europe celebrates except the U.K. They celebrate "Pancake Day" and as a custom, eat pancakes. The French eat crepes. Sounds like fun to me! Today I'm celebrating Mardi Gras and voting for a New President. I've never been this excited over an election in my life. The competition is fierce, the weather is beautiful, go and vote!
